Usarium iOS worldwide release. Ta-da!

Hi there!

Usarium greets you in United States, UK, Canada, Germany, France and everywhere with a global release on Oct-24.

What is our next plan? - We’re going to make more tests.
- Despite Kickstarter rejected our campaign (it doesn’t support social networks),
- Despite our pre-seed Investor Ilya Kuntsevich rejected his signed commitment to invest in company (we received $10K from $50K committed),
- Despite we lost our Android developer in the team,
We, going to make much more tests than did before. Why?
Creating our app and preparing to a hackathon tour over top USA Universities we developed not just an app, we’ve builded a platform. This platform allows us to make experiments with markets and models as easy as if it was Lego. Just have a look:

The first sample of the app over Usarium API will be presented next week. Then we plan to develop ideas suggested by our users during tests in Russia and we expect more ideas from new users all over the world.
We will continue our test-by-test movement into sharing economy by the following scheme:

If you have your own idea and are ready to undertake some promo activity to test it in your community - we’re ready to make a special app over Usarium API for you and share the result.
Got interested? - Let us know!
More ideas how to get involved into Usarium activity you can always find at an ambassador page.

Working to perform user hopes,
Oleg (Usarium) Manchuliantsev

Kickstarter vs. Real crowd

Hi there,

Today we faced with a very interesting situation.
Kickstarter rejected Usarium campaign:

We review projects to ensure they meet our Project Guidelines (http://www.kickstarter.com/help/guidelines), which define how Kickstarter can be used. They express our commitment to being a platform for projects in the creative arts.
Unfortunately, this project does not meet our guidelines. This isn't a judgment on the quality of this project, just a reflection of our focus. Kickstarter cannot be used to fund development for social networking websites or apps.

So our plan to receive money from users for further development failed.

Or not?

We promote that access is better than ownership. So why not to apply the same principle to our development. What we need money (ownership) or help (access)?

Why not to create the DESK with list of activities, we wanted to pay, to let everyone do by his hands (money don’t needed)?

What activity?
- Promote via FB, Twitter, Instagram
- Produce & post video-review on YouTube
- Provide prizes for the lottery
- Organize sharing clubs
- Create apps over Usarium API...

Have a look at the DESK, and let’s see what has more power - money or people...

Cheers!
Oleg.

Where is my GTA?

Today my middle son Arhip asked me - why we develop our app so long.
- So long?
- Yes, so long.

Look, firstly we build the opportunity to post things, search and book them.
But we noticed that some of our users do not want to show toys they have to others.
So we created private (closed) groups. Now you can invite Aristarh, Michael, Stephan to your group and share toys.

Then we noticed that Usarium comprise not the all stuff in the world (yet:). So we made one more improvement. Now if you don’t find toy you need no in group, neither in Usarium at all - you may use social search.
- Social search?
- Yes, using one button (Ask!) you may ask for instance - paintball gun - from the friends who might have. You may ask in Facebook and Twitter, WhatsApp or SMS, and by E-mail as well.

And the last improvement - we changed our booking mechanism. Now it looks like a plain chat.

So next time you will be looking for the stuff, first look in Usarium before under bed.

Cheers!
Oleg.
P.S. If you know your way to use Usarium, let us know www.usarium.com/desk

What I learned from Kawasaki speech at Skolkovo

Yesterday Guy Kawasaki had a speech at my Alma Mater.

My friends asked me. What NEW can that OLD man can teach?

Some common words of success?

In the style - If you want to win - you should cannibalize your business? (like ice-makers did)

Common phrases that everybody should use his chance? (like Kawasaki didn’t at Yahoo)

Common words that success consists of 50% of luck? (like his equal identity to Jackie Chan)

So what have I learned from that?

I noticed that attendants very actively buy books (Kawasaki books).
I asked my friends - who did that also?
- Alexey showed his 3, somebody showed his 1 book, someone else his couple. And 3 mine were quietly laying in the backpack…

Why do we buy so many?
So many equal items?
For one use...

Why not to create a private group on Usarium, post there one copy of each book and share, coming to classes? It isn’t so hard to bring a book, that your friend asked to read, yeah?

Except Kawasaki - we can post there other our books - Steve Blank, Bob Dorf, Eric Ries, Alexander Osterwalder, Ash Maurya...

Need something specific like Economical Equilibrium by I.Kuntsevech? - use the social search, ask friends who have.

Some say it’s too complicated to use app for book sharing.
Let’s see…

You need to choose the left menu to Add a private group (have a look at the screen shot). Name & describe it, add your stuff and invite friends to do the same via FB, Twitter, WhatsApp, E-mail or plain E-mail.

It’s easier than to run 1 ring on the stadium..

But if you can cannibalize your own lifestyle - you will receive much more opportunities to spend the forthcoming weekend. Beyond the books, there are many other toys to share...

Yours,
Oleg Manchuliantsev

P.S. For those who normally want more…

Many of us need to find ideas to develop during academy. Some need it and after.

I’m that lucky guy, that managed to find, develop & raise the money during SSA-3.
Want to learn my method?

Let’s make a small hackathon.
Within 4 hours I will show you:

  1. How to find perspective trends and available resources (believe me - you know everything - you just need the tool how to derive it from your head)
  2. How to develop new business ideas.
  3. How to evaluate ideas.

Who interested - pls. jot here: http://bit.ly/19pl5uw
If we gather 24 person at least - I find the place (Skolkovo?) & synch the best time.
If somebody can help with coffee - let me know.

Cheers!

Hello, world!

Warm greetings from Usarium!
